Gears of War is a video game franchise created and developed by The Epic Games and The Coalition. The Game focuses on a struggle between Humanity and their mutated counterparts. The Microsoft, by now has published versions of the Game. The Latest update, Gears of war 4 is currently in development by The Coalition and scheduled for release in October 11, 2016.
The fans willingly waiting for the Latest module have not got it, but that does not stop The Coalition team from thinking beyond gears of war 5 and so.
In an Interview with Digital Spy, Rod Ferguson the head of The coalition disclosed the news of the Gears of war franchise being held by the Microsoft. The Microsoft only gave them all the rights to develop Gears of war 4 in all and all different way.
Ferguson quoted, “One of the things that’s nice about Microsoft’s investment is that we know, unless this does horribly, we’re probably going to do another one,”
“That’s made it easier to design moving forward. In the past, when we were doing Gears 1, Gears 2 and Gears 3, there was a lot of doubt, we didn’t know whether there would be another one, so we just had to get everything in right now. “Here, we’re able to look at it, recognize a great idea that doesn’t quite fit right now, but it’ll fit in the next one. It’s made it a lot easier.”
So, these statements by the head clearly make a point that Gears of War 5 is not so far from us.
We also asked some relevant questions to Ferguson, regarding the Game Play and the technique, and if they opted to give up on any of the Classical equipment like chainsaw machine or machine Gun combo lancer.
In reply to this he explained, “Not the Lancer,” “The Lancer is just a little bit too core for us. We’ve talked about pretty much all the weapons and things about what should stay and what should go.
“Take the Ink Grenade for example. The Ink Grenade is out of Gears 4 because of the fiction around the game. But if for some reason we thought the Ink Grenade was critical for the future, we could find a way to bring it back. We can think, ‘Well it’s not for this one, but who knows what the feature will allow us to do with our fiction and where we’re taking the story’.”
So what conclusion can be drawn at the end is, The Gears of War series, success is sky launching and the fans will keep on getting latest updated modules one after another.
